Sid Busch is a retired Navy Senior Chief that runs marathons in honor of fallen troops. I first discovered him while reading an article in Runners World.
Sid is nearing 70 years of age, and is sure he’ll have to slow down soon, but continues to run the marathons that he can.
When asked what it means to be warrior, Sid had this to say:
“Somebody who is willing to give everything up to include his life for protection of the country.”
In this week’s episode, Sid talks with Tim about what it means to be a warrior, challenges he is facing, and what ultimately inspires him.
We also learn about Sid’s relationship with the younger generation, the support he receives, and how he plans to support veterans after he can no longer run marathons.
I know you’ll enjoy the interview with Sid. Be sure to share your thoughts on Twitter using #FuelForWarriors.
